Lauren Gilbert
Part-time
Lauren Gilbert is a research fellow at Open Philanthropy. She researches possible new cause areas for Open Philanthropy in global health and well-being.
Her work has been previously published in The Washington Post and Works in Progress. As a Tarbell Fellow, she intends to focus on public-facing writing on research on global health and economic research.
She is also a researcher for the television show Quite Interesting and an analyst for geopolitical risk firm, GeoQuant. She holds an MA in political science, a MS in physics, both from UC San Diego, and a BS in physics from Caltech.
